Description

The Tasmania Together Youth Challenge (TTYC) is a competition that gives Tasmania’s youth an opportunity to connect with their communities and to explore the state’s vision for Tasmania expressed in the Tasmania Together plan.  It is a competition that asks our youth to investigate, understand and acknowledge what is important to them and to the future of our State.

Working individually or as part of a group (through a school, youth network, scout or cub group etc) our youth are asked to think about their vision for Tasmania’s future and then to use their creative abilities to express and share this vision.  The competition attracts a range of creative, educational and artistic entries, including painting, photography, film, song, poetry, prose, projects, debates and essays.

This year we have added a special award category for community projects.  This award recognises a particularly significant project proposal that aims to improve the well-being of a community in relation to one or more of the TasmaniaTogether goals or benchmarks.
