Following another highly successful year, Tasmania Together will again be holding its Youth Challenge competition. The 2011 Youth Challenge will be launched on 27 June and close on 3 October. More details will be made available soon at www.ttyouthchallenge.com.au
The Challenge has been running since 2008 and helps to raise awareness about Tasmania Together amongst students, teachers and parents in our community.
The Youth Challenge allows students to express their views in a fun and engaging way, while developing their skills in a number of key educational areas, including literacy, numeracy and ICT.
Students will be asked to express their vision for Tasmania’s future. They can do this in a number of creative ways, including through multimedia, art, song, dance, poetry or prose, or an issues-based inquiry from any curriculum area.
Entries are supported with a written statement that aligns their vision with one or more of Tasmania Together's goals. Students can enter individually or as part of a group of students.
