The Premier responded to the release of the Social Inclusion Commissioner’s Cost of Living Strategy saying that it would help all levels of government and the community sector better understand the pressures facing Tasmanian households.

The Premier highlighted government actions already underway to help with cost of living pressures including provision of an additional $2 million over the next two years to help low income Tasmanians in the 2011/12 budget.
