Welcome to the November edition of the Tasmania Together eNews.

The Progress Board has been busy preparing recommendations for amendments and additions to the Tasmania Together plan based on the findings of the 10 Year Review.   These recommendations will go to Parliament at the end of this month and following Parliamentary approval, a revised Tasmania Together plan will be released.

This newsletter focuses on one of the main findings to come out of the review – concern over the cost of living in Tasmania. Whilst amendments to the benchmarks are in progress, Tasmania Together continues to report on a series of cost of living benchmarks that reflect the concerns that are evident in the community.

In this newsletter, we have included articles submitted by Aurora Energy, the Social Inclusion Unit of DPAC, and Anglicare Tasmania.  Strategies for government, business, the community and individuals are included.
