The winners of the competition will be published on the website on Monday, 3 December 2012. The closing date for entries into this year’s youth challenge has come and gone. Thank you for all the submissions received. The quality of entries and the effort put in by Tasmania’s youth, schools and parents is always appreciated. Judging will take place over the next month and winners will be notified on our website. The competition runs from 25 June 2012 to 8 October 2012 and is open to all school-aged (under 20) Tasmanian youths. The TTYC is a competition for young Tasmanians under 20. It challenges participants to think about the future. As the next generation of community leaders and decision-makers, our youth play a vital role in shaping, improving and making a difference to Tasmania’s future. The TTYC is a competition that gives Tasmania’s youth an opportunity to connect with their communities. It is a competition that asks participants to investigate, understand and identify what is important to them and to the future of our State. On your own or in a group you are asked to show us your ideas for improving our State in a creative way. This year a new category has been included and a special award is available for the best community project entry. There will also be separate categories and prizes for electronic and print media entries. |
